This section includes many ways that you can become part of the solution - helping both Israelis and Palestinians achieve reconciliation, and enjoy a future of peace, justice and security.

Whether you just have a few minutes a week, or a couple of hours, everything you do counts.  Be as involved as your time permits, and use your voice and your influence to bring change.

Political advocacy offers every American ways to make your voice heard in Washington DC, where changes in US policies and funding choices are will be crucial to effect real change in Israeli policy.

Your voice in the Press and electronic Media is also a powerful tool to influence very unbalanced reporting in the United States regarding Israel and Palestine, and to carry the message of just peace to the wider public.

Help the crippled Palestinian economy by shopping for Palestinian products and encouraging others to do so.

If you want to organize others in your congregation or community, Planning an Event and Starting a Group for study and action are excellent methods of supporting the growing movement among United Methodists and others for justice in Palestine Israel.

Taking Action in Palestine and Israel:
Learn about some inspiring ways that Palestinians and Israelis are taking action:

many nonviolent activists among Israelis and Palestinians are setting an impressive example of principled resistance to oppression.

• the Israeli refuseniks are young people refusing to serve in the military (which is mandatory in Israel) to protest the continued Occupation of Palestinian territory and the treatment of the Palestinians.
